99 Meyer Road 87 units. Completed: 1993 4-bedroom units 245, 307 sq. m. Facilities. Big swimming pool with sunbathing decks. Big children's pool.  4 BBQ pits near the pool. Children's playground nearby. Squash court. Tennis court, mini driving range and putting green. One year old gym at basement, near basement car park. No floor mats provided, noted one expat. A big pond with 4 white swans and big koi fishes and cascading waterfall near the gym. Another big koi pond at the entrance to the lobby above the basement. Extremely breezy.  Units with sea views will be noisier as the busy expressway to the airport has lots of traffic. The Owner may sound proof the master bedroom with double glazed glass. Orange grey streaked marble flooring. Cabled usually in living and one bedroom.  Big balconies off the dining and living rooms with sea views. Powder room near entrance. All four bedrooms are spacious and have long baths. 2 are white and the other two are blue and pink. The master bathroom has a white long bath and the shower installed at the side. There is NO separate shower cubicle unlike the newer condos like Pebble Bay, Costa Rhu and The Makena. |

An underpass across the busy expressway brings you to the East Coast beaches and park.  Parquet wooden floor board in bed rooms. Tennis court, Squash, Half basketball court, sauna baths for male and female, dart board in gym. Caucasian Expats love the two large balconies, one off the living and the other off the separate dining area which can accommodate big dining tables. Express bus to Suntec City in 15 minutes. Taxis to Changi Airport in 15 minutes. Cold Storage supermarket in 5 minutes. Rents for higher floors will be around $7,000. Suits expats who want a low density condo away from the large crowds at Pebble Bay, The Makena and Costa Rhu. Value for money. Popular with Caucasians who don't need spankling new condos. There are big balconies, the new gym and a low density one-block condo. Though the bathrooms and kitchen cabinets may be dated, the condo has spacious grounds and living areas. Tenants are of mixed nationalities. |
