Best not to ask your vet to spay your cat when she is on heat. Wait till she cools down from caterwauling 7 days later. Fee for female cat spay is $100/cat and $75.00 for male cat neuter, excluding antibiotics.

Remove plaster strip at day 10 after the spay unless it is dirtied. In some cases, replace the strip with a new one 3 days after surgery.
