The main problem for most expats working in Suntec City or Raffles Place
is the great difficulty in getting a taxi from 5 pm - 8 pm from Suntec
City despite bookings. Only solution will be for the Government to
license part-time taxi drivers for peak periods rather than increasing
number of taxis or taxi fares as these are not viable solutions for the
expatriates or riders.
Hence, many expats want to live near Raffles Place or
