Skin itchy after boarding was the complaint in this 11-year-old Boxer. Not much is known about the duration of the skin itchiness. Pigmented face and paws suggest a long duration of few months. Resistance may be low in older dogs. The demodectic mange mites and skin bacteria may then multiply and cause itchiness.
