RENTALS IN 2010 ARE ABOVE S$6,500 - $9,000 PER MONTH FOR 2-BEDROOM AND >$10,000 - $20,000 PER MONTH FOR 3-BEDROOM. These rates apply to most of the centrally located serviced apartments in Singapore.

There is no more $3,000 - $5,000 monthly rental for 1- or 2-bedroom serviced apartments nowadays.  

In April 2010, a 2 bedroom in Far East Plaza Serviced apartment will be weekly rate of S$2,400 and subject to GST.  Monthly rate will be S$6,500 and subject to GST.  This rate will includes 3 times a week housekeeping service, local calls, basic tier cable tv, internet access and utility.  Common laundrette at $4 per token per use of washer and $4 per use of dryer. There is a Queen and 2 single beds in 3-bedroom units.

There is no 1-bedroom at Far East Plaza but 2-bedroom apartments. There are 2 types of 2 bedroom layout:  

(a)   Standard 2 bedroom (size 646 sq ft) -

(b)   Deluxe 2 bedroom (size 646 sq ft)  

(c)   Standard 2 bedroom (size 1033 sq ft or 1130 sq ft)  

I)    Rental includes:  

·        Fully furnished apartment

·        Curtains

·        Kitchen appliances including refrigerator, cooker and oven

·        Crockery

·        Linen

·        Housekeeping twice a week

·        Air-conditioning for living room, dining room and bedrooms

·        Colour television

·        Service charge for maintenance of common area  

(II)        Rental excludes:  

·        Utilities charge for water & electricity – Tenant’s expenses

·        Overseas calls – Tenant’s expenses

·        Rollaway bed – S$200 per month or S$7.00 per day

·        Cylinder gas – S$26.00

·        Car park – S$100 per month  

(III)    Deposits and Advance rental  

·        Security Deposit:    1 month’s gross rental (for 1 month to less than 6 month lease).  2 months’ gross rental (for 6 month to 24 Months lease).
