Thank you for contacting me. I will be most happy to show you the apartments but we are NEAR CHINESE NEW YEAR. Jan 26 should still be OK but Jan 27 is Chinese New Year's eve and all Chinese (majority of Singapore's population) will be having reunion dinner. Jan 28 will be Chinese New Year.

The most spacious 2-bedroom apartment in UE Square (pl see report in website

www.asiahomes.com UE Square report ) is 1,200 sq. ft. Is that spacious? Rental around $4,000 - $6,000. Furniture in Tenant's choice. Cheapest one at 980 sq. ft - I can get one for you at $3,500 or $3,000.

We would like to be able to view some housing with you next weekend if this is possible and would also like an indication beforehand on what we can expect to get around our stated budget.

Your budget is extremely generous as it equals S$8,500! Probable suggestion is the 14th floor of UE Square, 3 bedrooms, furnishing to your choice. This particular landlady provides expensive lighting and curtains. Cheapest rental I can get for you is $6,000 todate. 1,560 sq. ft. English couple has not formed subsidiary company yet and therefore unable to lease yet. It takes around 4 weeks to form a company but this will not affect you..

There may be some units in Valley Park Condo which is older than UE Square Condo by one year.

There are the Brentwood Villas (townhouses) in Orchard Road area at S$9,000 but what do you want to do with 5 bedrooms and the Pinetree Club membership?

For security, UE Condo will be best.

I have several meetings next weekend but I expect to be free on the Monday the 26th all day. I can confirm a time with you next week.
