How does "feng shui" affect your property investment?

An Owner discussed about  "feng shui" in a property investment using Costa Rhu as an example.. He explained to me that the Costa Rhu units facing the "sharp" edge of the Gateway Buildings across the clear sparkling Kallang waters would not be good "feng shui (geomancy). It would be like a knife cutting into your view and would adversely affect your business and prosperity, as is commonly believed by the practitioners. Therefore, do not invest in a Costa Rhu or any unit which faces a sharp edge of a building.

No "8" would be good as a residential address such as 8th floor. Singaporeans believe that condos facing the North would be best since there would be no hot afternoon sun. Important facts for property investors!

How about the address #08-14? The "4" would mean "die" in Chinese cantonese and the sum of the digits equal "13" which is considered unlucky amongst some Caucasians if they are into numerology.

Asia USA Realty was lucky to get a good Tenant to rent at $6,000/month without provision of refrigerator, washing machine and dryer. Other 4+1 Costa Rhu units were going for a miserly low rental of $4,000 - $5,000.

Could it be due to good feng shui as this unit did not have sharp edges of buildings in Suntec City and Beach Road to adversely affect the prospect of getting a better rental income for the Landlord,  unlike some others?
