MASTER BEDROOM appears small as a big stand-alone wardrobe is installed between bedroom and master bathroom, giving a small passageway from the door. A small study room near main door. Kitchen squarish. Huge gym and 2 squash court.
UE Square 4+1 1600 sq.ft $5,000. Meet agent at lobby 3.
Conventional layout with wardrobe flushed against wall in master bedroom. Appears bigger. Complained that the living and dining areas are small. No balcony for both UE Square units.
Holland Peak 3+1 1600 sq. ft $4,000. Blk 23, 2nd floor.
Liked the spacious and long rectangular living cum dining area which has marble flooring.
Complained about the white and grey kitchen cabinets as in Holland, this design is outdated. This unit has a balcony for a table and chair. Plants grown. Facing trees and other units. Extra one attached bath. Quiet.
Holland Peak 3+1 1540 sq. ft Blk 25, lst floor but elevated from ground. L-shaped living and separated dining area satisfied the Dutch expat. No balcony and no extra attached bath.
The floor plan appeared more satisfactory than above unit. Quiet. Landlord has offer of $4,000 and said previous tenant mentioned a 7-minute walk to the Commonwealth subway. The exit gate of Holland Peak is nearer to the road being 2/3 downhill than the entry gate which is up the hill top.
Tulip Garden maisonette, renovated. 3+study at roof terrace + 1, 3000 sq. ft $4,200.
Near the tennis court and must walk up to upper duplex.
Liked the green tree and building views in the distance from 2 big balconies.
Water seepage to side wall of this corner unit. said to be rectified by management..
Disliked the multi-coloured bathrooms, false column in living area, deep blue kitchen cabinets and dark brown long bath.
3+1 1700 sq. ft $4,500
Blk 370E. 16th floor being the top floor on top of a hill. Views of HDB apartment roof top.
Store room near main door. Really spacious living area, separate dining area with space for big dining table.
Blue sunblock curtains cracked, floral and pink curtains in room. Disliked the brown false wooden grained kitchen cabinets saying that this fashion is outdated in Europe.
Liked the large living and dining area of this unit. A small balcony. A short 5-minute walk from the back door to the Queenstown subway.
Back to office.
Other appointments to be made:
Mera Saga, 3+1 1400 sq. ft $4,800. Next to Holland Village.
Trellis Towers 4-bedroom 1464 sq. ft $4,500. Brand new. 7-min walk to Toa Payoh subway.
The Sterling 3+1 1500 sq.ft $4,500. Brand new. Near Sixth Avenue, Dutch and French Schools.
Conclusion: UE Square is ideal as it is very near to Suntec City. However, the living and dining areas are not that spacious and the rent is higher than $4,000 for bigger units. Will leave to wife to decide.
